Too fast to live, too young to die
18; an age of becoming legal, an age when we supposedly have much more freedom, an age of transition.

18; an age when things are confusing as it is complicated, an age when we struggle the most, an age when everything feels like the end of the world.

At eighteen, we're neither too young nor old enough. Too old to fool around, too young to know much about the world. Too old to not have plans for our future, too young to have a complete say of what we want.

At eighteen, some are mothers, some are college students. Some are prisoners, some are workers. Some are dead, some are living the life.

At this phase in life, we're either always "only eighteen" or "already eighteen". Always too much, or never quite enough.

At an age where one is neither here nor there, there's only so much we can take before cracking under pressure.
